for more clarity on export of service please refer notification no.41 of service tax

ANY SERVICE WHICH IS EXPORTED IS OUT OF THE PERVIEW OF SERVICE TAX WHEREAS AS PER THE TAXATION OF SERVICES (PROVIDED FROM OUTSIDE INDIA AND RECD IN INDIA ) RULES 2006 , THE IMPORTS OF SERVICES IS SUBJECTED TO TAX , PROVIDED THAT ITS A TAXABLE SERVICE .
