If it is true, then it's party time!

Articleship 768 views 2 replies

Dear friends, i have heard that the new incumbent on the post of president of icai is going to abolish the rule that restrict the transfer during articleship. Actually i have been told by one of my very good friend that the torture of articles was also a issue in the elections.

If anybody is having any concrete information then please let us all know.

Let us believe in god and hope for the best.

If that happens then it'll truly be a time to celebrate.

However my CA friends who attended a pre-election meeting of a prominent candidate feel otherwise. Far from removing the current restrictions, the candidate suggested an even stricter control over articles (met with loud applause from the members present).

it depends mainly on the president.UPA didn't act after consulting other CCMs.He just imposed his will upon others. It depends mainly on the others.

A very revered member of this thread(a CA but i wont name him); most of the CAs were opposed to this rule. This rule also had some repercussions(only some; not wholesome) on CAs coz they couldn't kick out unproductive articles or those who were somewhat stubbon(like me).Jokes apart; we should all be optimistic.

The new pres could do like this.He wont totally revoke the transfer order. He will simplify it somewhat in favour of articles.Something is better than nothing.Inra-city transfer will be allowed. But any transfer can't be before 6 months of either pcc, final exams(just like bonus stripping).

uparwale ke yahan derr hain; andher nahin.

And uttam prakash agarwal has proved to be the most unpopular prez ever.my friend too WORKED in an election this year. And CAs who are having indirect support of UPA stand to lose big time
