If already doing export then are there real benefit conducting business from Special Economic Zone ?

Import / Export 171 views 2 replies

If I am already doing export business as a proprietor either for goods or services and get GST refunded (as on export GST is 'zero-rated tax') then what other factors I should think to conduct my business from a "Special economic zone"? or it is pointless for my situation.

so my question is there any point/logic or benefit other than the GST refund that I am missing and that I should conduct my export business from the special economic zone?

Does conducting business from SEZ exempt custom duty on Import also (from Other to India's SEZ) or exemption of tax on Income of a proprietor doing export?

Or any other real and worthful benefit to think on why for my situation doing export would be benefit from an SEZ
