What is the position of law with respect to deposit of TDS if 7th of a month is a public holiday. Does the date automatically get extended to next working day or the date remains 7th due to net banking. But do banks give recognition to TDS remittances on a public holiday or the date of tender is deemed to be next day.

If TDS deposited day is public holiday then you have to deposit the tax on next working day if payment is made physically.
If payment is made online, then 7th day is the last day of depositing of tax.
