yes, this is a mistake. I don't know, is it technical or other? But according to rules of ICAI, she/he should be fail. This is really surprising.

nothing wrong in this if the girl has passed her group 1 exam of ipcc with 217 marks out of 350marks( which is the passing total of both group together) then one can pass easily and logically. n

calculation>50% of 700( 7 papers)=350> is the minimum marks to pass ipcc both group. now one gets 133 marks in grp2 , then remaining marks (350-133)=217 marks has to be secured in group 1 to get an overall 50%. hai na Kamal ...!

This is poosible only when one has alrady passed her grp1 with 217 marks or more.

dude, how its possible when one has done with 1st grp...??

Dear Friend, Riyas, i could not foolow ur question but what i assume u want to say that what if i person has already passed 1st grp. Well my dear, the rule remains the same. first of all there can other side to it also. why people always jumps to premature conclusions, why r u so sure that its a mistake! did any one post the picture of the result of the previous attempts of the same girl. how can u judge without seeing both sides of the same coin. I am pretty sure that the girl must have passed her 1st grp in previous exam with more than at least 217 marks or more. now assuming she has already passed her 1st grp with 225 marks out of 400 marks total , nd in this attempt she gets 133 marks out of 300marks, then her aggregate in both groups comes to 358 marks which way beyond the minimum 350 marks. so she can pass in accordance to rule of ICAI." if a candidate secures 50% marks out of both group even if his/her minimum passing marks in one group is below the 50% mark, then the candidate shall be declared to be passed on the basis of total marks secured in both groups taken in aggregate.' please be updated about the new rules of Ipcc. i my shelf have passed IPCC by same way. i got 237 marks in group 1 and 141 marks in group 2. total 378 marks > 350 marks. Got it dude!!

Plz watch this , u will get it. Dude!

Dear Suvobrata, i meant only if she hav had passed 1st grp in previous attempt, not in the same attempt..i know al rules brought by  icai, infact im also coming by the way of ipcc same as carry forward rule..ok..anyhow dis girl got passed same as wat  u said,  ws correct, ie, 217+133. bcz it was a mistake frm icai, wich 1st grp result didnt come by mistake..by the way,i surrendered, u r realy intelligent, obviously eligible to become CA..happy dude..??..:):)

ICAI accepts mistake in decleration of IPCE result of Divya Vasudeva IPCE Result of Roll No 310853. – (09-08-2012) No. Secretary-ICAI/Exam/May-12 , Dated- August 9, 2012 Announcement The result of Group-II, Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE) held in May 2012 of Ms. Divya Vasudeva (Roll No.310853) which was hosted on the Institute’s website on August 7, 2012 showed her as passed in that group with a total of 133 marks which was an error. The factual position of the candidate has been that she is a both groups candidate securing the following marks in the said examination: Paper 1 65 Paper 2 58 Paper 3 52 Paper 4 55 Total of Group 1 230 Paper 5 44 Paper 6 49 Paper 7 40 Total of Group 2 133 Total: 363 Accordingly, her rectified result is – Both Groups passed under CA Regulations, 1988 While deeply regretting the inadvertent error of not including her Group I marks, it is mentioned that because of the programmic complexities, her earlier result in the website could not be modified and, therefore, has since been disabled. Secretary, ICAI
What if i score 194 in group 1 and 160 in group 2 will i clear group 1 because of adjusted marks from group 2??
