  1. You can still file your ITR
  2. But you need to pay income tax if the income exceeds the limit
THANKS. CAN I SHOW SALARY EARNED IN TWO COMPANY NAME IN ITR IN REALITY? PLS ADVICE. SECOND PROBLEM - JOINED NEW FIRM IN JAN16., SALARY OVER LIMIT AS PER IT. BUT NO EMPLOYMENT PAPER EVIDENCE OF EARLIER COMPANY, WHAT ABOUT TDS DEDUCTION OF JAN16 TO MAR16 IN NEW FIRM ON WHAT BASIS? WHAT FORMALITIES ME TO FULFILL TO NEW EMPLOYER? PLS ADVICE.
  1. Yes, salary earned by 2 or more companies can be shown in ITR
  2. When you join a new organization, you need to declare your income from previous employer to the new employer
  3. Once you do this, the new employer would consider the income from previous employer along with the current salary and deduct tax accordingly and issue form 16 for the total income.
  4. This form can be used for filing your ITR in July
THANKS. BUT MY PROBLEM IS CASH SALARY, NO EVIDENCE FROM EX-EMPLOYER, PLS ADVICE ME REMEDY ON PART OF NEW EMPLOYER? SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCY.

That's okay. You can declare salary paid in cash too even though there is no evidence. But if your present employer insists on evidence, then you have another option. You can declare such income (salary in cash) while you file your ITR. Whatever you declare will be considered as income but you need to pay tax on such income at the time of filing ITR. If you wish to declare such income for the purpose of ITR, then you do otherwise you may ignore.
