Hsn wise summary in gstr 9 is optional for only 2 years 2017-18 & 2018-19?

Yes. This was given considering initial difficulties due to introduction of GST. Expected to be abreast with compliances from FY 19-20 onwards. Considering recent events, await for notification/removal of difficulty order.

Yes similar to 17-18 & 18-19 optional to disclose HSN details in GSTR 9. Refer notification 79/2020-CT
