Is it correct that for dealers with
turnover 1.5 to 5 crores codes are to be mentioned are first 2 digits only.? They may not print all 8 digits?
Also what is the rule while uploading. Do we upload 2 or 8 digits.?

Yes it is correct.
Dealer having turnover below 1.5 not required to mention HSN.
B/w 1.5-5 crore 2 digits required.
Above 5 crores 4 digit HSN Code.
8 digit require only if dealing in import & export.

Bcoz, The first 2 digit is the items chapter code. It's most of items related in the chapter
