yes HSN is compulsory in gst migration process but you can use aadhar if your aadhar have correct name and DOB in DD/MM/YYYY format and your e-mail and mobile no. also be linked aadhar
As per base fabric material check in chapter 61 to 63

HSN codes are available under the HSN code button at the time of registration process.
Don't be panic and see peacefully, you will find the required HSN code.
