We are in the business of import and distribution of Car Radio & Car Speakers.
The HSN code is
Car Speaker: 85182900.
This falls under GST rate of 18%.
However HSN Code 8708 falls under 28%.
HSN 8708 says " All parts & accessories of Motor Vehicles"
We therefore need to know if we should invoice under 18% or 28% and similarly at time of import pay IGST @ 18% or 28%.
Please note end use of our product is for a car even though it can also be fitted in a house ceiling. Our intention is to sell to the car market only.

As you might have guessed till now Yes the HSN code is 8708 for any parts and accessories which includes Radio thus your business is under the GST slab rate of 28% and not 18%.
