Respected sir please tell me whether HSN code is compulsory for b to c below turnover 5 crores

Not mandatory
It will be better if you create one common system of filling HSN both in invoices and returns. That way HSN summary will match with your outward supplies in totality
Not mandatory But better can you report Hsn summary
