HSN CODE and tax rate of tamarind seed

I am a trader i am selling taramind seed to a factory.... can anyone please tell under which hsn code it comes and what is the tax rate

In FAQ published on 03/08/2017, in leading dailies, it was clarified that tamarind kernel falls under HS Code 1207 and attracts Nil rate of GST. It is however, clarified that tamarind kernel of seed quality attracts Nil GST, whereas tamarind kernel of other than seed quality attracts 5% GST.

(Here Kernel can be taken as seed if we are going to powder it).

But for Tamarind there are another two codes,

Tamarind [fresh] falls under 0810 and attract Nil GST

Tamarind [dry] falls under 0813 and attract 12% GST

sir this language only i am not understanding.... i am just a trader i want to know whether i should charge tax or not

No need to charge anything. It is nil rated.

But the local gst officer is saying its taxable how should i convince him.... even the factory i am selling also saying its exempted and he is unloading daily 100 lorry but the gst officer is not accepting it and saying to pay tax and penalty both... please help me
