Hra tax exemption for both working spouse

Hello , 

Me & my spouse both are working in same firm and are in same tax bracket.We are staying in a rented accomodation in Mumbai. In our registered rent agreement, names of both spouses is mentioned. Can only one spouse apply for full tax exemption on total rent paid ? if not then in what ratio it should be claimed when in actual only one is  paying full rent to landlord ?
