Hello All,

I am the sole owner of a loan free house in Gurgaon. Is it possible to pay rent (and claim HRA) to my wife after having a power of attorney or something similar. I can not get the home transferred to her name for some reason.

House should be on your wife's name otherwise you shall avoid because beneficial owner will always be you.
