If I moved to my own house still can I claim HRA from my company or not?

no u cannot. HRA is only for employees who use rented flats or houses However there are many who present false rent reciepts to claim the exemption.As per the act the same is not permissible..

you can cliam HRA ...but in this case you have to show the entire amount of HRA received as TAXABLE INCOME

HRA received from your employer is fully taxable, if you are not paying any rent or you are staying in your own house.

as PER HRA RULE -HRA allowed Least of following

a) HRA PAID BY COMPANY

B) 50% of Basis

c) Rent paid -10% of Salary

So you paying 0 Rent so HRA allowed as per INCOME TAX also ZERO( Least of a,b,c)

 

 

 

 

 

If you are living in your own house you can not claim HRA exemption. But if you are residing in the Parents house you can show that you are paying rent to the Parents and claim HRA exemption. No rent Payment and getting HRA  then NO INCOME TAX EXEMPTION.
