Now i have seen a B/S of listed company named Uniphos Enterprises Limited of FY 2010-2011
i saw that under Long Term Investments there is "Invetment in House Property" and there is provision for depreciation on it..!! i read the notes to accounts and it said : Depreciation on investments in hp has been provided on wdv basis in accordance with section 205(2)(a) of Co.'s Act and as per the rates prescribed
my question :
can u claim dep on long term investment ??
the dep rate is 5 %
pls do answer my query..??
