How young and talented ca are being exploited by sme and ca?

I agree with iyyappan, you agree that after many questions from interviewer ."After 30 minutes of interview they made me realise that I know nothing" so try to sharpen your knowledge first and then go for interview

You should have gone prepared & you should have left them amazed with knowledge of CA. It is very important to get prepared & attend interview. It all counts how well you present.

 

CA is no way bearer cheque to get employed any where with 4-6 lacs salary package. Unless u have scored RANK you are at par with other graduates having 2-3 yrs of experience.

 

Also Rs. 15K offered is not matching to recent industry Standard for newly qualified CA.

 

Salary Package depends and defer size of company, age & experience of candidate. Also from city to city package varies. 

 

There is nothing to get disappointed but find good firm/company who values CA. There is struggle for every professional whether he is CA / CS / MBA / CWA.

 

All the best you will definitely get better job, focus on presenting yourself in a better way & your knowledge will boost your confidence.

Agreed. The interviewer will definitely try to bring you down and hence your salary expectation. They are sitting there to save company costs. That is why at the start of the interview never tell your salary expectation,this is only end interview question. So  try to be better prepared next time,with your knowledge as well as soft skills which are required to ace an interview and dont be disheartened you are made for made for better things. :)

Dear all i dont think Vikash meant to say he does not know anything..he simply wanted to say the questions which may have been put to him was deliberately so designed, so that he is demoralised and accepts a salary which is par less than industry norms. Young and freshly qualified CA's like Vikash should not get dissapointed at this behavior. This is bound to happen because someone in our profession does not respect the hard work which we put at our articleship and study whereas the rest of the world is enjoying. Practical field is always different than theory. In our profession i feel if one has acquired the qualification it means that he is not a crammer or machine which has everything in memmory but that we have capacity to understand a problem and find a solution to it. I feel to avoid such exploitation it is time that the institute fixes a base level package for freshly qualified CA's. Vikash dont lose hope.. keep up and kudos for standing up against this exploitation.

agree with you.......feels very sad when some one offers package of 2.5.lacs.....you if u r average than u r neglected..in my opinion we have proved by passing final exam..it is possible for people like me who is not good in interview or exams but good in execution of work......rates or theoretical hardly matters u can also refer books while executing practically....don't know where world is heading

Hi Vikas,

At First ICAI should have proud on you. It was said right that CAs are undervalued these days.

The fool people in Industry are happy to pay millions and billions Rs. to Big accounting firm for consulting charges but cant hire few CAs wth acceptable package.

The newly qualified CAs should have given chance for build some confidence, they did not lack knowledge they just need someone's belief in their ability.

It was nicely said by a senior of mine "Kaam karne se hota hai, round table par baate karne se nahi".
