How we can enter the partial received goods in tally

Q1: we have requested a PO 1000 units of xyz item to the saler  but he sent only 500 units in 1st lot and this is lot of 500 we got 50 items as damged and we returned the 50 units and on 2ed & 3Ed lot he sent the rent of the items along with damged return  so how we can preform this transation help me with this

You need to record purchase on the day of receipt i.e first receipt for say on 1.08.2018 pirchase account debit to bank / creditor account (500 units) then when you received 2nd lot and 3rdlot same entry shall be passed on the date of receipt. Return shall be reverse of purchase entry passed
