If the data is of Version 4.5. Pls look at my tool submitted at site. But for Tally 5.4 and higher the procedure is littlebit different. Data will be unlocked, but for security reasons procedure will not been told.

there is no option available for acquiring data for a tally file for which user name or password has been forgotten.
