How to transfer security deposits.

Hello Everyone, We have just now incoorporated a Private limited company, previously we was operating as a partnership firm. My question is i have paid all security and deposits from partnership firm now we will be paying rent to our landlord with a private limited company. Now the question arises how we can transfer the security deposits from partnership to private limited. Is the way to do is, take amount back from landlord and then again pay a new check from private limited. Thanks In Advance.
