hi! please tell me which topics should i cover first in tax and some tips about presentation in exams!

Focus on the coverage of service tax & vat as it will fetch u good marks as the course is limited as compared to dt which includes everything besides the above mentioned two.......that's what I did!

Yeaa Saumya,I too advice the same just said by Akash,first try to complete Vat and service Tax.Then go to DT-like 1st complete Capital gains and Business/Profession,then complete other heads,then complete the rest of the topics like deductions,TDS,Return filing etc etc......If you do this you will have just 5-6 topics wwhich makes you feel free to complete in time......

Vat and service tax in 25 days. Direct taxes:considering the vastness of syllabus and importance of it, try spending more time in it.40 days is more than enough for direct taxes. U need to study atleast 6 hours a day to complete both.If you feel Income tax tough then opt for coaching.

Try to write what was expected rather than what you know..Every question will have atleast 1 special adjustement, the correct understanding of which will help you to solve the quesion correctly as expected..
