 Hello,

My attempt for PCC is in May 2010.

I want help and guidance of you all for the same.

My 1st aim is to pass in 1st attempt both the groups and wanted to complete my studies till november and to start revisions from december.

So i want your help for how to start?

Which subjects i should concentrate more.

Which books should i refer

Are modules provided by ICAI enough?

How much time i should study?

Can any one provide me a good time-table?

How to study each of 6six subjects can anyone tell me briefly?

Please i will be thankful to ou all to help me

Your posts are most welcomed................Thanks to all in advance.

Why do u want others' advice for this???? Just be unique, have ur own plan & study well.

About time table - we all doesnt know about ur timings, so u should prepare it according to ur requirement. & no.of hours u study  is not matters, wat matters is how did u study on those hours. U should concentrate & understand the concept. Thats it.

As for as reference & modules are  concerned, experts will tell.

And plz one thing keep in mind, You r not child now, so u chouldn't depend on others' for all these silly things.

Think....!!!

Use the scanner and institute's compilations and indetify the relative importance of each chapter in examination and plan your study..after studying each chapter revise the questions from the chapter appearing in the scanner atleast once..give equal impotance to all subjects as each paper is an unique chance i.e. even if u score 40 in one paper and 75 in another, it ll brighten ur chances of passing the exam...and there is no specific hours of study as only QUALITY STUDY is needed..whatever u study u need to present in the exam properly to score marks..Fix a plan and allote time for each subject and study. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR HARD WORK...so work hard and STUDY SMART...Good Luck

As regarding books to use, choose a good book which suits u well as there a lots of good author's book available in the market..select ONLY ONE of them and dig deep using that one book instead of digging wide using many books..and in case of practical subjects like accounts and costing solve problems instead of studying problems and their solutions(for the theory part in these subjects refer the ques given in scanner.it ll be sufficient)..as regards taxation, read the latest ammendments applicable for ur exam along with other chapters...reagrding auditing , Law and ITSM, choose a good book..read the chapters once and revise using the scanner......revise the questions asked in the scanner(without choice) atleast once before ur exam...definitely it ll be of help to an extent in making u pass the exam

Dear friend

To study for the exmination will be held may 2010 At first you should prepare a time table containg min. 5 hrs . & Study according to time table. you will success definately

You have to bat at the run rate of 6, otherwise you may have to do pinch hitting at the slog overs. What I man to say is study all the 6 papers regularly. Otherwise you may mess up in the last days before the exam. with which paper to study and how much.
