- Prepare well in advance.
- Admit to yourself “ I will not know all of the answers”.
- Don’t go to class too early, other people’s panic is contagious.
- Don’t quiz each other just before the exam.
- Allow yourself time to “ warm-up”.
- Don’t panic if you don’t know the first few questions.
- Pay attention to your test, not to yourself or others.
- Don’t hesitate to ask for clarification.
- Read over the test and plan you approach.
- Prepare well in advance – keep up day to day if you can, but don’t judge yourself harshly if you don’t.
- Don’t go without sleep the night before (4 or 5 hours maybe enough).
- Stop studying, relax and compose yourself.
- Know time and place: be on time, neither too early not too late, don’t rush.
- Don’t talk about the exams.
- Develop on aggressive, yet realistic attitude, use everything you know to do well, but don’t blame yourself for what you don’t know.
- If you go blank and can’t think of anything to write, go on to another question.
- Relax yourself physically during the test, take a pause, lay your test a side, and take several slow, deep breaths.
