you need to register with vat authorities if you selling any goods or if u providing online service then with service tax authorities and under state shop and establishment act.

Sir , Thanks i want to provide service for accesing database and website that is sale of business(like job site ) from home . and take payment online through payment gateway linked to my bank . it should need to be registered as sole propertorship or not . After i have minimum paid up capital for pvt.ltd than i must be registered.  . Please Suggest Me . I start and operate my business through home because updation of database need not to rent some place .  Thanks .
