How to Sign a Cool Signature

others 1342 views 2 replies

Steps

  1. Look at different signatures and study how each one looks. Are they really scribbly looking or done with cool stylish writing?

  2. Get a piece of paper and practice doing your own signature. Try closing your eyes and sign your name the way you like it, and see how it looks.

  3. Here are some cool things you can do with your signature:

    • Make the First Letter of your first name large and the rest of your name small, do the same with your last name

    • Sign your initials, or you can use the initial of your first name and write your full last name.

    • Sign your name with a slant.

    • From the last letter of your signature, draw a line through your signature. You can even do a curl up and draw a line back to the other side.

    • Try different writing styles (narrow, slanted, wide, upright)

  4. Experiment with as many styles as you can.

  5. Go through all the different signatures and evaluate each one. Do you like it? Does it resemble you? Is it 'cool' enough? etc.

  6. Once you've found one that you really like, practice it on another sheet of paper until you have it right.

  7. Be sure you are completely satisfied with your signature, (See 'Warnings')

Tips

  • Try a drawing like a heart or a flower at the end of your tail (the line that you may draw through your name)

  • You can also draw little symbols over or under your signature

  • In order to save yourself the embarrassment of having somebody watching you as you take your time to legibly write out each letter of your name, consider signing your first initial (second if you want to) and the first syllable or so of your surname. If you take 7 seconds or longer to sign your name consider shortening it and/or speeding up your hand movements. 5 seconds is between good and okay to sign. Try to be able to sign within about 4 seconds or less.
