yes you can sett off this late fee refund in cash ledger
yoi can see amount of late fee refund in sgst and cgst head
you can sett off your cgst and sgst lisbility by this cash refund ... you cant pay igst liability by late fee refund

When i goes for filling here shown error.
My tax liability is cgst 5000 sgst 5000
And cash ledger balance is 4000 i.e cgst 2000 and sgst 2000. That is why i generate chalan of rs 6000 (3000+3000)but its still not worked.

this is portal problum ... when we go to sett off then we face error msg ... everyone face this prob wait till gst tech have to solve this error ...

I am new to GST filing etc.,
Unknowingly I have cedited 5475 to central tax. But now I realize that this much is not needed in central tax, But this needs to be splitted across integrated tax, central tax, late fees and state tax. Can someone help me to swap / split these amount by advising how to do. Thanks
