How to score marks in audit

Prepare well with Standard on Auditing, write refrence to SA in answers wherever required.

Also remeber section numbers related to Company Audit, CARO.

Write upto point answers & dont write what is not required.

best way is to read module.

Institute ka bharosa nahi, kabhi pura practice manual same to same puchhte hai to kabhi everything new. but all is covered under modules.

dikhne me bade dikhte hai bt maximum annexures hai so we can leave those pages. effectively its not that much big.

so go for module. best way is Institute's way only.

Read ICAI practice manual... you will get the idea about what answer ICAI wants... 
Always try to quote relevant AS, AAS, or CARO point and also section from Professional ethics...

as i m sufferring from same problem failed in audit from last 3 attempts

even me also facing the same problem with audit. Karan whether now there is enough time to start with module for may14 attempt? How about Paduka's book for audit. Pl. suggest me. Thank u.

@ nidhi., I got 58 in audit in nov 2013 exams and i did the following things                                          for caro i studied the para no and also the audit procedures that should be applied to check that particular item..for ethics i knew the schedule no by heart and also the wordings of the provision..i found writing the exact language fetches you better marks..for law provisions just normal studing...for SA i remembered the name, no, and most importantly the audit procedures to be applied therein..i found insti mat very helpful in this regard..if you dont understand any prov in SA you can refer to the application part given there and you will definitely understand...i found the special auditing techniques chapter very interesting and applied those audinting techniques in answering the other questions.. then i also did my AS properly.. To be honest even i m very surprised at my marks...
