How to save on long term capital gain tax of debt mutual fund

117 views 2 replies

I have incurred 1300000 long term capital gain (after indexation) through debt mutual funds.

Is there any way in which, I can save on capital gain tax ?

For debt mutual fund, long term capital gain is calculated on 3 year basis so can I buy any bond to save tax on this amount. If I can save tax, then which bonds should I buy and how much?
