You can go ahead and respond under

Services > Registration > Application for Filing Clarifications.

Hurryup! Respond within 7 days

Hi,

Registration cannot be cancelled without a Show cause Notice being given to taxpayer and a reasonable opportunity of being heard by the Tax Official. Thus, in case of Suomoto cancellation of registration, a Show cause Notice shall be issued by the Tax Official/ Proper officer to the taxpayer and taxpayer would be given a chance to file clarifications in the stipulated time limit.

You need to provide response within the prescribed time limit of 7 working days’ time to file reply to the Show Cause Notice (SCN) using the Services > Registration > Application for Filing Clarifications link. If no response is given within prescribed 7 working days, the Tax Official can proceed with Cancellation of registration.

sir if i dont reply. Can they impose any liability for not submiting my gst returns

we have given online reply within 7 days to this notice.

but before giving online reply we went to GST office to submit hard copy. tax officials refused to accept the same. then we searched & submitted online reply to that notice.

Now what next?

please advise.

you have to wait, the concern tax officer response to you, you can view the status of your reply.

but they have refused to accept the hard copy & instructed us to pay the tax & file the returns.same hard copy i have uploaded in our online response.now the status showing clarification filed by applicant pending with tax officer. is there need to submit the hard copy with GST office ?

first you clear all pending returns and take one printout with ARN of response of notice , and submit hardcopy

hmm. thai's the problem. cannot clear the pending returns this week at least. in the worst case if registration got cancelled how can we activate the same?
