Hi guys. I am new to this club. But I don't understand why are u people creating so much hype on this. There is no rocket science in remembering Varients of VAT. Even a B.Com Student can do that.

If you need tricks to remember these simple things then what about MAT calculation, Excise valuation, etc, etc. ????

Please don't mind this is just an opinion.

I am sorry guys my opinion was for Final students and not for IPCC students.

Dear Shruti, I'm not very sure whether this clip is for final or Ipcc students. But the fact remains, that it is something very new & interesting way to understand the concept behind having three different variants.

Technically speaking the lecturer is not giving any remembering tricks, but he is just explaining the true concept that lies behind the three variants.

Knowing and remembering the three variants is very easy and anybody can do that, but understanding why we need 3 & not 2 or even 4 variants is the important part. This the part which i liked very much and that is why i have uploaded the link for this video & that is what the hype is about.

Agreed Shruti there is no Rocket Science in Remembering the things, Then why dont you remember the Steps of Calculations of MAT or Excise or Costings etc & why do you go in to searching of Books of Memorising Techniques of ISCA & other similar subjects. Come On Give me a trick to Remember the Format of Cost Sheet ( See that it should not be Mugging technique ) But in such a way that I as a CA student am aware of the fact & situations which I can co relate to remember the Cost Sheet Format, Else agree that what you said is you take back your words & i will give you the said trick of Remembering, which also I have seen in the Video of the same Professor for Costing / FM Tax etc  Also How to Remember all the Std Costing Formulas are given by Him in just 1 - 2 - 3 - form & all the formulas of Cost of capital on What for What basis, I feel it would have been to appreciate him posting Free lectures on all subjects for the Needy & far located students like me Rather then Just simply criticising for the sake of putting a Post.
