How to rectify BSR Code in 26Q

While filing of return I have provided wrong BSR Code in RPU 2.9 due to which I have received demand from department.

Now I want to make correction. I tried to revise return for which I need the CONSO file. But I am not able to download CONSO file since I have unmatched challans (the challans where BSR code is wrong).

How to match challans and download conso file ??? Please guide me since i am new to this.

Login to traces site, raise a rectification request, there you'll find a tab challan mismatch and your mismatched challan will be highlighted there. When you click on the mismatched challan a button stating ' Tag Challan' appear, just simply tag your correct challan there and file correction statement through DSC. Kindly note DSC nd traces emsigner is mandatory for this type of correction

How to file for Form 26QB Correction?

Login on the TRACES Website as a taxpayer.

Select option “Online Correction” under “26QB” tab to initiate correction request.

Update the details which are required to be revised.

Select the option to verify the request either through Netbanking/ Digital Signature/AO Approval. you

-The form would be verified post verification.

The request for revision can only be filed by the buyer and not the seller.
