I am in confusion that how to maintain shares list ie, share purchased - sold-intratrading of my clients.
Because i have seen that a share purshased 5 to 6 yrs ago get easily misplaced in excel sheet due to mistake or confusion and so.
Is there any software or technic available to keep records of share. Tally could be , but for long period it becomes cumbersome.
There is no need to apply AS .

I am not aware about any other software but Tally could be use to hold the data transanction.

There are many problem in tally,
1. Client whose return is only prepared by us and not the accounts has no meaning to keep his share record in tally.
2. The client who purchase share of many company becomes difficult to us to open accounts of each company wise because it will become ample of a/c.
