Dear All,

Wish you a very Happy Akshaya Tritiya.

I have enrolled for CMA inter under Syllabus 2012. I had Economics in Grad. I didnt have much of accounts in my MBA also. Now being a non-commmerce student I am facing real problem in coping with Financial Accounting (Paper 5) and Cost Accounting and Financial Management (Paper 8). The biggest problem I am facing is how to study these two papers. Shall I practise the sums from the Study Mat or from some books or what else can be done to grab these two papers, specially Financial Accounting.

Mam As you said that you are a non commerce student hence might be you are facing problem in understanding the basic concepts of accounting as well in Cost accounting. Finacial Reporting and Financial Mangement and costing are three distinct books and requied very strong basic concepts to understand ...so i can recommend you to buy some basic book for each and go through them... Secondly make some friends circle that in case of need they provide quick response to your query...it might be CCI or some other social sites or may ypu have already... good luck....
