How to obtain tin no.??

Dear sir 1. First Register with Dvat online 2. Fill registration Form 3. Upload soft copy of identity & regidence proof 4. Pay statutory fee e.I 1000 5. After generating TIN no. a investigation officer will visit your premises 6. If he find fulfilled all requisite provisions he will aproched to vato to issue a RC

Dear aditya , Tin no. Is a matter of indirect tax levied by d state. Kindly inform which state r u asking about. And U can get dis ans from any tax consultant from ur place ( or state )

thanks jitendra and tushar ...but plz tell me what documents are needed as there is no fixed place of business. Its a trading business of clothes. What are the documents or requirements which shall be checked bt the officer.
