No dear,

As your tax liability was also same as the TDS deducted by the employer, you cannot claim refund. If you have shown other investments in ur return then u can claim refund.

Yes there is no possibility. If you make balance amount investments to claim 1 Lakh under Chapter VI-A probably there is a chance to claim refund to some extent but not entire TDS. I hope there is no Housing Loan Interest?

My friend has taken housing loan from Co-operative Society and taken another  loan from office and this office is under GOVT Sector.

Ok if housing loan has been taken, then you can claim principal payment u/s 80C for the balance investment & interest payment u/s 24(b) upto Rs 1,50,000/-

In this case i guess you will have chance to get refund.

Housing loan will be considered. Loan from Office will and repayment of this will not be considered for the deduction.

He can claim full body checkup, if any, to the maximum of Rs. 5,000/- for self and another Rs. 5,000/- dependent parents u/s 80D.
Sachin... you already have delayed taking decision... almost all of the deductions in section 80 are on payment basis. Whereas the year has already ended. Get planned for the current year
Arif is correct for interest on housin loan
Send me ur details on atul.mithbavkar @ gmail.com i will try to get ur refund
U can get a benfit of rs.2000 under section 87a.. I.e tax rebate
