How to find Registration number

One of my friend Registered for CPT in july 2008 due to some difficulty he did not clear cpt
Recently one news has come there is no cpt for Graduates who secured 55% in commerce he has done Bcom now he want to register for IPCC

Weather he has to register newly or old SRO number is enough

if old register number is enough how to track the Registration number because he is not remembering the registration number
