How to find job in equity research, investment banking

Assuming u qualify in this attempt(without a rank)

straght away getting into equity research, boutique investment banks (mind it not top tier),kpo etc will for sure require some networking and patience.. dont expect to land up a job at lazard, or morgan stanley....

ur best bet for equity research would be to clear ur cfa l1 as early as possible, and if u want top make it to a  top tier IB/PE firm get into a top B-School like iim-a,b,c, ISB, Spjain etc..

the other way around is to get a rank in CA FINALS or at least a 1st attempt clear... this would give a competetive advantage amongst the crowd.....Also looks good on resume.. LOL

 i am planning 2 appear CFA after 2 years but currently i want to join the industry. it is not issue for me that i will not get attractive packages like MBA/CFA i want to start with something.

Major diificulty 4 me is how to enter in this field because i am facing the problems like how to find vacancy ? and how to apply ?.

I am a CA final student and doing CFA (US).

I want to get into PE or VC fund ultimately and want to use the exit opportunities of Investment banking as a bridge. So, I wans to get into IB after CA with the top BB firms like JP morgan, Glodman Sachs, etc.

I have got ranks in CPT & Inter and doing articleship from Deloitte. Assuming i secure a rank in finals as well and complete CFA L2 by the time i qualify, is it possible to get into such roles ?
