How to file my It returns

Hi frnds I have to file IT returns for my salary income. It is refundable.

Pls let me know wat are the documents i have to submit in IT dept. pls

Sir,

You need to prepare a statement of income (memo). E-filing of return is mandatory for individuals from AY 2010-11.

So, if you are wiiling to do this on your own follow the below steps:

Download "Return preparation software" from https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do

You can find it below the page.

Install it & enter the details. Generate the e-return.

You must download your ITR-V (acknowledgement) 2 copies. sign them and send to CPC Banglore by ordinary post.

If you cannot do this on your own better consult a Chartered Accountant or an Income tax Preparer.

you can also file paper return ITR-I (Saral -II)

And one more thing what are the documents i have to submit at the time of It returns by paper and by online. Can i submit any other documents to claim my refund amount?

nothing to submit for online return, only ITR-V which will be automatic generated by the site, just send that to Banglore address.

for paper return, form no. 16, and some times form no. 16A (TDS form) with ITR-I

For claiming of refund also no need to submit any document na ?

I am asking this because previously i saw form no .30(for claim of refund) additionally with Form 16.

So now any necessary to submit this form 30 ? or Just enough ITR-I and original Form16 ?

Refund process automatically starts or we have to submit form-30?

IT department launched ITR forms, just because to remove burdens of attachments, thats why these forms known as paper less return, so no need to attach any TDS form.

refund process will automatically start and you will get your refund whenever it get proceed.
