How to file itr of deceased?
Hi friends
I have added son of deceased (father) as a legal heir in income tax. Please let me know where should I file the return of deceased either from son login or father log in .
Tell me the procedures to file the return of deceased .

You should register as a legal hair first in father's login. You should upload 4 scaned items 1.Death certi., 2.Your PAN card, 3.Father's PAN Card, & 4. legal heair certi. in father's login.
After that I.T department approval will be rrceived.
Then you can file return of your father as a legal heair in your father's login.

Yesterday I filed the return of deceased assessee through his son as a legal heir.
I did it just because of you ....
