Tds was deducted u/s 194 EE with interest for late deduction. How to show this interest in rpu while filing quarterly tds? Since deductor is a govt. Dept, tax is deposited with IT through book adjustment.

If challan is paid along with interest... then you have to feed the challan with the amount in tax and interest columns with the corresponding amounts.... Whereas deductions are linked only to the tax amount... then amount feeded in interest column is adjsted as interest.....
If amount feeded in interest column is not claimed as interest then you can do the same in online through traces website.... Click on add interest in kevy and choose challan and edit the details and enter the amount in interest column to claim as interest....
