How to enter details of Form 16-A in ITR 2 when TDS is Zero

ITR Filing 336 views 3 replies

ITR 2 does not allow to enter interest income details from Form 16-A when TDS is zero. This results in mismatch of Interest Income (Other Income) & the Income shown in form 26AS. Is it OK

If you have no tds then why you filling it it's not necessary
just show your interest in other source of income under the appropriate head where's you get it
Zero TDS deducted by deductor , you need to fill TDS section details in ITR

Actually, I am talking of th case where one or more deductors have issued forms 16-A for all the four quarters and there is zero TDS in one or 2 quarters.
