To download the EPF passbook, you need to follow these steps:
- Go to the official website of EPFO
- Enter your UAN number, password, and captcha. The UAN number is a unique identification number assigned to each member of the EPF scheme.
- Click on the Login option.
- Select the Member ID for which you want to see the passbook. If you have more than one EPF account, you will see multiple Member IDs.
- Once you have selected the Member ID, the passbook of EPF will appear in front of you. You can view the transactions made in the account.
- If you want to download the passbook in PDF format, click on the Download option. You can also take a printout of the passbook if required.
It is important to note that the passbook of Exempted PF Trust cannot be seen or downloaded by the employees. This is because Exempted PF Trusts are managed by the employers themselves, and they have the right to access and view the passbook. Only the passbook of EPF accounts managed by the EPFO can be viewed and downloaded by the employees.
