To download the EPF passbook, you need to follow these steps:

Go to the official website of EPFO
Enter your UAN number, password, and captcha. The UAN number is a unique identification number assigned to each member of the EPF scheme.
Click on the Login option.
Select the Member ID for which you want to see the passbook. If you have more than one EPF account, you will see multiple Member IDs.
Once you have selected the Member ID, the passbook of EPF will appear in front of you. You can view the transactions made in the account.
If you want to download the passbook in PDF format, click on the Download option. You can also take a printout of the passbook if required.

It is important to note that the passbook of Exempted PF Trust cannot be seen or downloaded by the employees. This is because Exempted PF Trusts are managed by the employers themselves, and they have the right to access and view the passbook. Only the passbook of EPF accounts managed by the EPFO can be viewed and downloaded by the employees.

The Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) passbook is an online record that shows your EPF account balance, contributions made by you and your employer, and the interest earned on your EPF balance. You can view and download your EPF passbook from the EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) website by logging in with your Universal Account Number (UAN) and password. The passbook is updated every month with the latest contributions made to your account.

Procedure to view and download the EPF Passbook :

Visit the official website of the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO)
Click on the 'e-Passbook' option on the website.

On the new page, enter your UAN (Universal Account Number), password, and captcha details.
Click on the 'Login' button.
After logging in, you will be taken to the next page where your Member ID(s) will be displayed. If you have multiple Member IDs, all of them will be shown on the screen.
Click on the Member ID for which you want to download the PF statement.
Once you select the Member ID, you will see all the details of your PF account, including the organization's name, your name, office location, employer and employee contributions, and contributions made towards the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS) account.
You will also have the option to download the PF statement in PDF format and print it for your reference.

Download UMANG App: Install UMANG app on your mobile phone or laptop.
Access EPFO Services: In UMANG, go to 'All Services' and select 'EPFO.'
Choose Employee Centric Service: Click on 'Employee Centric Service' and then select 'View Passbook.'
Enter UAN and OTP: Enter your UAN and receive OTP on your registered mobile number.
OTP Verification: Input the received OTP on UMANG app for verification.
View Member IDs: Your linked EPF accounts' Member IDs will be displayed.
Download Passbook: Choose the desired ID and download or view your EPF passbook.
