How to claim hra exemption if rent for nov. 2018 to sept .2019 (11 months) is paid by single cheque?

I am living in Mumbai. I am living in a rented flat and I paid rent for Nov. 2018 to Sept. 2019 (for 11 Months) to the landlord in advance through net banking. I only have the rent agreement in which there is mention of the said transaction and monthly rent. Please suggest me whether it is necessary to submit rent receipt to the employer or rent agreement is sufficient to claim HRA exemption? If receipt is compulsory then please advise me how can I get receipt from the landlord (for what amount)??
