To update your personal details on the e-Filing portal, follow these steps:
- Log in to the e-Filing portal using your user ID and password.
- On the Welcome page, click on your name at the top right corner and select "My Profile."
- On the My Profile page, click "Edit" to make the desired changes.
- After making the edits, click "Save" to save the updated information.
- On the Verify your Contact Details page, enter the two separate 6-digit OTPs received on your primary mobile number and primary email ID.
- Click "Submit" to complete the verification process.
- If the updation is successful, a success message will be displayed.
Note: If you update your mobile number and email ID based on your Bank Details, you will receive the OTPs on the respective primary mobile number and primary email ID entered on the e-Filing portal. If you update your mobile number and email ID based on your Aadhaar information without making any other edits, you will only need to verify the email ID.
