HOW TO BECOME A TOPPER

Being on top of the world is one of the greatest feelings. It is when the whole world is at your feet. A heavenly remembrance of your efforts and the rigorous hard work you did would certainly bring smiles. Determination and regular practice make one more skilled and more specialized in his/her respective fields. He/She has command over his/her subjects and keeps the foundations strong. In today’s competitive world every one wants to beat others. When you are at the top, you are in command and a master of your operations

To reach the top one has to develop tremendous endurance, patience and determination. If endurance and patience is no God gifted, one should develop these virtues. As regards the characteristics of a topper is concerned, they are,

(i) Excellent Time Management: A topper has a habit of planning his study. He goes through the entire syllabus and accordingly decides the time available to him. He is one who has an attitude of conserving time and does not waste it on other activities. His time management is excellent and has sufficient time left for entertainment.

(ii) Effective communicator: A topper has the habit of being in regular communication with his seniors; particularly toppers who take interest in guiding him and help him reach the top. They share with him their secrets of study methods. Their technique of clearing the exams with a high percentage of marks becomes an ideal for those aspiring to top in future.

(iii) Favourable Impression:  He is always in the good books of the teaching faculty. He has a good impression on the Principal. Paying full attention helps him get special attention of teachers.

(iv)Thirst for knowledge: He has the real taste and passion for his subjects. He is thirsty for knowledge and tries to gulp down every droplet of knowledge and stores the rest in his brain and uses it effectively.

(v) Professionalism in approach:  He is a real manager of his affairs. His approach towards dealing with others is highly professional. On the other hand, he has a lot of admirers who want to make friends with him.
