Hope you all doing good.Guys i got a question !! usally while doing stat audit we go through our Trial Balance. There are instances where TB does not reflect certain items. In that cases please suggest me how to audit the iteams not icluded in the TB. Or how to get a clue that there is something missing in TB. Lets assume that it is a instance of fruad.

Unless u ve any suspicion we cannot audit thinking that there would be any fraud. frauds need to be investigated and not audited.
suppose u come to conclusion tat there might ve been a fraud then detailed audit procedures should be carried and it depends on facts and circumstances of the case
Scrutinize JV's 100 %. There can be various accounts which can effect audit opinion but are zero balance & thus not reflecting in TB at the end of year. JV's are the key to closing down on such accounts.
