I've taken GSTIN on Dec 2017 and later applied for cancellation and same has been done. (Cancelled on application of Taxpayer) (Effective from "Date of Registration")
So, now I want GST number can my old GSTIN can be reactivated or I've to apply for new GSTIN?

Dec 2017 cancellation date is same as registration date
You cannot re activate your old gst number, you can apply new one

Access the GST Portal at www.gst.gov.in. In order to enter into the account, enter the username and appropriate password. In the GST Dashboard, select services, under services select registration and further under registration select application for revocation of cancelled registration option.
