How should I go for IPCC

Sir my name is Rituraj. I passed CPT in june 2010 getting 141 marks. My first attempt is in may 2011 but I have decuded not to appear in this exam since my syllabus is not completed. I am also doing B.com regular course and my B.com is going to be completed in May 2012 so I have decided to appear in IPCC exam of Nov 2012 in both groups. Suggest me what should I do to pass both groups of IPCC exam getting good marks.Also I have not joined any coaching till now because in CPT I also passed with the help of self study and I believe in self study.So also suggest me some tectics for self study and also some good books for self study as I have enough time for preparation.Also I want to tell you I have completed the syllabus of corporate accounting.

congrats for your cpt result...!!!! first of all i must say dat clearing a professional course without classes is a matter of bravery ....so dat is a great aim set before you..!!! Ipcc is very vast...so u need to study every single day...plan your studies....preparing a timetable and most importantly following it is a MUST...I.T. is tricky subject..u need to revise it throughly....atleast 4 times...SM is simple...study it and solve good number of case studies to gain mastery...for IT/SM u can refer padhuka...as you have already completed a/cs i wud only suggest you to sove questions from RTP's nd suggested to gain mastery....for audit ders surbhi bansal nd also padhuka....surbhi bansal is a very good book if u r in search of a concept oriented precise buk...padhuka is in complete question answer format....audit u need to understand the concepts clearly...rest is practise nd dedicated study....law...g.k. kapoor or munish bhandari....solve as many cases as possible...costing / fm...focus on theory...and solve problems wholeheartedly ...coz the key lies in practising...tax is a wonderfull subject...singhania is a great buk...manoharan is also available...tax also requires gud amount of practise....tc and all d very best!!
