I started filling up the ITR 2 and was more or less done with all the line items of Capital Gains filled. I kept it for a day and two days later everything was gone. The screen says no saved drafts - start new filing.
Any idea how long the online draft remains? Does it mean that I will open the draft everyday and save it afresh?

Unless the system is UPGRADED, the draft remains in the system.
Online is suitable only if you have less data to fill, or for just verification of prefilled data and submitting the return. For more data filling and saving the ITR for longer period, offline is best suited.
