If any one is representing himself as a CA then how can i check with his name and date of birth that whether he is ca or not . I am not a CA but want to know the truth . so anybody can help me about this matter

hello ajay,
ask CA his name and membership no and enter the no in ICAI website then you can check his name, locality, year of membership entry, whether practicing or not etc. Further icai issues photo id to each member and you can ask to show that. For practising member icai issues a letter of cop which wil be displayed in the office. you can look that also.
